We opened the month of August in great anticipation of honoring our Foundress, St. Jeanne Jugan. On day two, the AJJ’s presented the
Residents with a slight twist to playing Bingo. At the beginning and ending of each game, the sayings of St. Jeanne Jugan were recited, to keep her ever present in thought. The prizes given were precious flower arrangements, decorated in the center with a St. Jeanne Jugan holy card and at the base of each flower pot, the sayings were placed all around the edges. The Residents were able to take the prizes home as a keepsake. Many games were played and all of the residents were happy and reflective of whom St. Jeanne Jugan truly was.
