Some 25 elementary students from Chadwick School’s Village Voices paid a visit to the residents. They sang Christmas carols and handed out copies of songs for residents to sing-along. It was a happy event.
Resident Fr. Patrick McPolin who used to be a choir conductor offered his services for the encore. All Residents had big smiles on their faces, clapping hands and tapping their toes to the music. Parents were teary-eyed after hearing Fr. Pat’s blessings to the young performers. It was a moment to remember.
After the concert, the students delivered gifts of tissue boxes and hand lotion to the Residents who very much appreciated their kindness and youthful joy.
