There was much joy shared with among our Residents and their Families at our annual Christmas Play (Jesus the Nativity) and Party. The Cast included: Residents, staff, Association Jeanne Jugan members and family members of the Residents.
Our Program opened with “O Holy Night” played on the piano by Dolores Grijalva, who is a mere 101 years of age, and still plays very beautifully!
The Choir sang several Christmas songs with our Chaplain Father Jacob Hsieh on the piano. One of our nurses, Tara, sang several songs that truly put us all in the Christmas mood.
The play included Shepherds and Kings who all saw the star at Bethlehem and followed it with their whole hearts. We look at our Elderly Residents who were the actors and their own faith in that star in which they continue to followed. They have given us the example and the courage to follow it too. We thank our Residents and families for sharing the joy of Christmas with your songs and your smiles!
