Everyone was eager and all decked out in their red, white and blue to celebrate their independence on this exemplary Fourth of July. Live music, delicious grilled ribs with the traditional baked beans and corn on the cob awaited us as we banded together in our bountiful garden area. What a festive setting with everyone alight in cheerful chatter and a full medley of patriotic songs.
The Sisters and Staff joined the residents and their families in a relaxed and memorable afternoon that went on and on. No one wanted it to end. We were all so grateful that the weather cooperated after weeks of our dismal “June gloom”.
