Our annual Living Stations of the Cross presentation on Good Friday was performed by our residents, staff and AJJ members. Javier Ochoa, a previous employee, portrayed Jesus Christ, quite dramatically.
Clarence Enzler’s, “Everyone’s Way of the Cross” was recited as we moved along to each station. The readings are pertinent to our own lives and our own conscience. The final words leave us with this thought: “Go Now! Take up your cross and with your life complete your way.”
Many in the audience were in tears as they watched and listened to the torment that Jesus endured, as if they, too, were present, back in the day of the Passion. It was a powerful enactment.
