Another year was ushered in with a wonderful celebration. Making the occasion especially festive was the added entertainment and service of the youth organization of the Knights of Columbus, the Columbian Squires and Roses. We began the occasion with a visit by “The New Year Baby,” the son of our Social Services Director. As we neared the stroke of “midnight,” everyone counted down the final seconds of 2013. Balloons filled with colorful confetti dropped from the ceiling. We sang “Auld Lang Syne” and danced away the hour. It was a wonderful time with great wishes and prayers for a happy and prosperous new year.
