It was Seniors Day with free admission at the Torrance Memorial Hospital’s Holiday Festival on December 1st. What a great way for many of our Residents to start the season with this “Under the Tent” display of hundreds of uniquely decorated trees. Each is donated and beautifully decorated by benefactors and sold to benefit the hospital. “I liked the alphabet tree,” commented one Resident. Another who is a UCLA Bruin fan loved the blue and gold themed tree.
Besides the extreme tree display, there were shopping opportunities and live entertainment. This is an annual affair with a 28 year tradition. Many of our Residents have gone in the past and appreciated the special consideration given on “Senior Day”.
