On Monday January 26th over 50 children from St. Vincent’s Catholic School in Los Angeles came for the morning to do Arts & Crafts with our Residents. Two teachers and many parent volunteers managed this eager and sweet group of 2nd & 6th graders. Many of them brought handmade bracelets and necklaces as gifts to our Residents. Our Residents loved making Valentine cards and crafts with the children. The students met Msgr. O’Connell to learn about his life as a priest and then they attended mass with our residents. After mass the parent volunteers brought in the children’s lunches and they had a picnic out on our lawn. Thank you St. Vincent for your time and effort!
