Before Santa goes off to make his rounds delivering Christmas presents to those who have been good throughout the year, he stopped off for breakfast with our Residents here in San Pedro. Of course, he did not come alone he brought the Misses and the Elves to wish us all a “Merry Christmas”.
The Residents waited in the auditorium to greet Santa and company. The Staff and volunteers helped to serve freshly made waffles with all the topping you could imagine along with bacon and sausage. There was much joy in the air when they heard the “Ho Ho Ho’s” of Santa as he entered the room. He went around to each Resident giving them each a gift.
The Elves followed with candy canes and smiles. Mrs. Santa followed along, greeting old friends and trying to catch up with Santa.
After giving a gift to each Resident; Santa, Mrs. Santa and the Elves were available for pictures. Residents went up to Santa for pictures, and those who had their family or a friend they wished to have their picture with joined in the fun in having their picture with Santa.
We pray now, for Santa and the gang, that they will be safe for their long journey for Christmas!
